Placed under kitchen cabinets and they look so good...I've had to charge a few times as the lights get dimmer but I love the look. Have more in my cart now to do bathroom and closet!Works great. A pleasant solution for lighting in areas with no power outlet. The motion detector is a little narrow in it's field of perception. Would be a 5 star product if it had a little better sensor. I WILL buy this light system again.I stalled this product by my stairwell where it is dark and hard to see the steps. Works well and lights up the stairwell. I like that it is a rechargeable battery.My daughter just brought her first home and I got this for the inside stairs. It shines super bright and no batteries required. Once it gets dull just charge it and it last all night.While this product does what it’s supposed to do, light up my dark staircase, the battery life is atrocious. At first I thought it was broken, but then I realized the battery was just dead… after three or four days.It’s set to only light up for 15s, which is suggested for long battery life, but that doesn’t seem to matter. Every three or four days I have to charge it, which is a little ridiculous.The light was super easy to add to my kitchen and just enough light. What I dislike is that you can't keep the light on too long if you need it for an extended period of time (the time settings are indicated in the description but I completely missed) so you need to keep waving your hand in front of the motion sensor if you want to turn the light back on. The motion sensor does not stick very well to my kitchen cabinet and keeps falling. You also need charge the battery often depending on how often you use, it does very quickly.I had a setup for stair lights at our old house and it was wired, but when we moved I realized a wired setup would have been a lot more involved than before so I was looking for a solution like these lights.I've had these now for six months and they're spectacular. They're set to night mode only and I have them set to 15 seconds which is plenty of time to go down our steps and they work perfectly.I have to charge them maybe once every couple months so the battery life is very good on them. I imagine it depends on how long you have the light set to stay on and how often it gets triggered, but for our use it has been perfect!I had fallen on the stairs because even in the daytime the bottom step was difficult to determine from the landing. I thought I would give the lights a try and they work great. It's now easy to see. The motion sensitive device works even in daylight. I have them set to stay on for 30 seconds but time can be increased if needed. The charge lasts approximately 30 days and they are easy to recharge.After a couple of months I did have a difficulty charging and contacted Amazon for troubleshooting. We determined that the unit was fine but the small cord which came with the unit wasn't working. It was suggested I contact Kolandy for a replacement cord. Within 2 days of contact they didn't send a cord they sent me a whole new unit. Wow! Now that's stellar service.
