Product: You can customize everything: colours, brightness, timer, preset functions, and even 3 colours you create (DIY 1, 2, 3). So if you want a softer Color, you can use that and decrease the brightness. But if you want to add excitement (say as a strobe light for a party or “disco light” so to speak), you can make it super bright.There’s a bunch of present functions you can choose from, and you can even change the speed (1-5). The fastest is extremely fast, so just keep that in mind if anyone sensitive to strobing lights.The led strip comes with an adhesive tap on the back of you want to stick this directly onto somewhere (such as what I did), as well as a bunch of other hooks and connectors that I didn’t use myself, but it’s still great to have so you don’t have to shop around for those too.Honestly, comparing it to similar ones on Amazon, this is easily the cheapest and I’d expect does exactly what the other ones will do. My other one was about $30, and the only difference was that it could also be controlled by an app, something I don’t really see much of a use for if you have the remote right there anyways.Personal Use: I originally got this for the back of my TV, but quickly changed gears when I noticed my daughter absolutely loves the other one I have. She’s also difficult to get to bed, but now she absolutely loves going to her room so she can see her new lights! The window it’s around is a pretty decent size too, and if you look at the bottom right of it, you can see I overlapped the led strip because it was still too big.All in all, I’d easily recommend this product. It’s really cheap, it just works great, and there’s lots of customizations you can do with it.Side note: The two pictures with the white LED’s on is showing the difference in minimum brightness versus maximum.
