It makes sanding fast with great results. The loudness/rattle would make me concerned of the longevity of the sander. Bought the machine for a small room addition due to help not showing up/save labor and it more than helped me save money.Quality feels good enough for the project I needed it for. Some of the plastic feels a little flimsy and the sandpaper felt cheap, although that's definitely not a huge problem.as soon as I fired this thing up the motor smelled like it was burning. Even with a new vacuum cleaner hooked up the suction wasn't much good. I tried to adjust the suction level, but it still put off lots of dust.I got a set of recommended sanding discs with mine and they have the suction hole pattern for a 5" disc.... I had to cut new holes into the sanding discs to match what came with the unit.Price was reasonable. Tha sander worked well. Customer service gave me a $15 refund because of a missing glove.Wow, hooked this up with my Fein shop vac and takes the mud off the wall right now. A little heavy but I choke up on the handle. I'm a weak old man. You robust men would have no trouble with the weight of it.Decent for the price, easy use for high placesEasy to use. Little bit heavy but does the job faster than normal sander. Definitely work it.GoodBought this because I am scraping the hideous popcorn ceilings from my house and I am skim coating all ceilings. Works quite well. Keeps the vast majority of the dust from becoming airborne. It is heavy with so/so ergonomics but tolerable. I'd buy it again. Better than fair value for the money as it saves a lot of timeI hate "sanding" drywall! ..and I have done a LOT of sanding drywall, by hand or with a pole sander. This is a LOT easier! It is heavier than a pole sander, but it is a lot faster, so you are not holding it "up" or in one place for very long! I did a whole room in about a quarter of the time! I love the LED light around the head, it shows what needs to be sanded. The "self" suction is okay, but I recommend adding a good shop vac with a good filter and Vacuum bag in it. It works way better! A lot less mess! I spend extra time in the corners when I'm mudding, this does not get "tight" into a corner unless you remove a guard, I didn't have to sand that tight, it got close enough, and did a fine job. The "extendable" handle came in handy as well. The "foldable" handle, I liked the idea, but I don't think I will ever use that aspect. It gets used a lot! Out of the truck, ready to go and back in the truck! It comes with a few "variety" grade discs. So you can figure out "what" you like. Stay away from "coarse" it removes too much, too fast! It doesn't go through discs very fast, about one for a 2000 sq. ft. home! If your doing more than one house, or using commercially, I would recommend ordering "more" when you order this. They are a standard size, but I have been having difficulty getting them at the local box stores, "supply chain issues".
