I walk very early in the morning, before sunrise. I purchased the neon GREEN armband. It isoutstanding. The fact that it lights up is most important-It can be seen from a great distance.Best safety purchase I have ever bought !Item was returnedreally nice , easy to use product. lightweight. just slip it around your arm or as i do around the dog leash near where it attaches to the collar and off you go. i got the blue one and the light was subdued enough to not dazzle you and give you night blindness but bright enough to be seen easily by cars. easy to choose strobe or constant light. will buy 3 more of themUpdate:originally I gave it 5 stars but recently had to remove one star due to inability to remove battery to replace when it died. It really was impossible, tried everything to dislodge the battery, pulled till the velcro tab snapped etc and finally had to resort to cutting the material until i could remove the batteries and then duct tape it back when finished. This was slightly over 4mths ago and although permanently attached to my dogs leash it was only used maybe once a week for an hr. So battery usage is going to be high and the inability to easily change them out will be a dampener. Note: i also tried to remove the batteries from my newer band that I bought, its only a couple of mths old and I also could not remove them. I just read in another review that the devs responded that they will change instructions for battery removal to include the vital 'straighten the band first' information that was missing in my order.still love it tho, just bewareI run on my neighborhood streets and honestly, if I didn't have these, I probably would've been hit by a car by now. I have 2. Both red, and really bright! I have my left wrist blinking and my right wrist solid - to get the best of both worlds. I also highly recommend getting LED heel attachments that way cars can see you from behind - you can find them on amazon as well.I haven't stress tested it, but I can say that it is easy to put on and it does work for at least an hour or so (which is how much I used it). I basically use it at night when pokewalking so that people know I'm with team valor (and also so that friends can find me quickly if we're playing in a crowd and we get separated because we're going in different directions to look for different pokemon).One thing that struck me as odd is that it has a metal 'button' with a hole on one side that looks like it's a socket to a button (as in the kind that you use to keep your coat 'buttoned'), but there's nothing on the opposite end of the bracelet that would be used for that purpose. I haven't figured out why it has that, but it's not really a big issue.But yeah, it's pretty big and the circle can be pretty small, so I'm fairly certain people of all sizes can use it. I don't have one with me at the moment, so I can't confirm whether it'd fit toddlers or not, but I can assure you it'll fit virtually any teenager or older.Also, in case it wasn't evident, the way to use it is to pull it open - this makes it erect. Then you slap it on your wrist and it wraps around it. You can click a hidden switch underneath the surface to get a solid light. You click it again to make it flash. And you click it a third time to turn it off.I wear this because I walk before the sun comes up and I know I can be seen. I wish it wasn't quite so tight - during the summer my arm gets hot and sweaty, so once it gets light outside I take it off and stick it in my pocket.I like to run and I live farther north so it gets dark really early. These slap bracelets are so easy to put on and adjust if I want to mess with my running jacket too - it's hard to do that with the normal strap kind.The green band worked very well and was used for 1-2 hours almost daily (walking pre-dawn). The battery lasted for 2.5 months. Once the battery started fading, removal of the LED apparatus to replace the battery proved much more difficult than the diagram/picture and the LED light thing was apparently damaged (did not work with the new battery).Since the price is not high, we ordered a blue replacement. The item we received was not labeled BSEEN but HIGO. The only a fourth of the band illuminated as opposed to the whole green band branded BSEEN. This is being returned.We are giving this one more chance and ordering the green band again hoping it is the right brand.I like this product, although it could be improved.It is relatively bright, and it does the job of highlighting the fact there is a person in the dark.If I was cycling etc, I would still recommend wearing a high Vis jacket, this is because as soon as headlights shine towards the armband, it can no longer be seen. there is no reflective gear on this bit of kit - the down fall. If they had 2 strips of reflective fabric on each side, that would make it a far superior product. all round though I would say that this is a good product, and well worth the money.The snap band does have a tendency to slip off if you have large arms or a baggy coat.PROS:Illuminates your arm/ leg so others can see youFits ins your pocket when not in use.CONS:Not super brightCan fall off arm if wearing coat or other baggy clothingNot reflectiveI would still recommend this product!Love the fact that there were two surprise batteries included, as from past experience they last ages in similar armbands. Blue is not really noticeable a daylight, but otherwise excellent. When worn by an adult they don't fit so well on upper arms,and certainly not over bulky clothes, so perhaps the manufacturers could consider a version with Velcro fasteners and a elastic insert? Yellow is generally more effective a colour at night but I really fancied the blue ones, as that's my favourite colour!Bought for my sons camping trip with Cubs. Great for extra light if u can't get to your torch.Nice and bright and a spare battery tooMy 5 year old son loves this!! So far it's lasting well.
