This piece was easy to install and worked just fineIt works in my whirlpool freezer, Don't know how long it will last, But so far so good, It seems these Factory installed LED's were never tested to sub zero temps as it seems the reason they go bad so quickly. I have replaced 3 of these in 2 years. Not a easy fix, Unless you know how to do.My local appliance parts store said you can’t buy just this part. They wanted $65 for the light assembly. My cover was good and reused it. Saved myself $30
